Jaja Turning 1

I have known Czarina since high-school and even though we haven't really sat down to talk about her and Ritchie's love life (or Phillip and I's, we chismis about other stuff when we're together) you can see that it is one of the good ones. When I met their little one last September, we already knew we wanted to take pictures of her. She is beautiful, and bubbly, and all the good things little girls are meant to be. 

We have plenty of time in our hands lately so I asked Cza-cza if we can have a fun shoot with Jaja. We got lucky when we found out it's just in time for her first birthday. 

It was a given that she's cute, and smelled of sleep and snuggles, but we didn't expect her to be a ball of energy—she has just woken from a nap after all. For the first 15 minutes, Phillip and I and her parents were busy wiping sweat off our foreheads while chasing her around, cheering her name, probably internally asking what we got ourselves into, haha. It took a few more "Jaja!", more than a couple of pick-me-ups, a bottle of milk, and Phillip's jumping to make her laugh. It was all worth it.

I guess it's safe to say that it has been our dream to do something like this. We knew it would be overwhelming but we didn't expect it to be this fulfilling.
